The single biggest mistake New Mexico solar owners make is treating cleaning as a one-time event. Production loss is gradual and easy to ignore until you notice the dip on your bill. A maintenance plan keeps your array within a few percent of peak production year-round.
Why a recurring schedule matters
Soiling losses in our climate compound month over month. A panel that's 8% down at month 6 is often 18% down by month 12. By cleaning on a recurring schedule before losses get out of hand, you protect both your monthly production and the long-term efficiency of the system itself. Recurring maintenance also catches small panel issues — micro-fractures, lifted seals, mounting hardware loosening — before they become warranty problems.
What's included in every plan visit
Every plan visit includes a full inspection, gentle pre-rinse, soft-brush wash, spot-free rinse, and a photo summary sent to you. We also flag any panel issues — cracking, hot spots, micro-fractures visible from the surface — so you can address them with your installer before they impact warranty coverage. Plan visits include the same panel-safe purified-water process we use on every job.
Plan pricing and locked rates
Plan customers lock in their per-visit pricing for the duration of the plan, even if our base pricing changes. You also get priority scheduling during monsoon season and post-storm windows when demand spikes. Plan pricing typically runs 10–15% below our standard one-off rates, and the locked-in rate means you're protected from any future price increases.
6-month vs 12-month — how to choose
12-month plans work for most homes in newer subdivisions with open lots and no overhanging trees. Choose a 6-month plan if any of these apply to you: heavy bird activity (Placitas, foothills, bosque-adjacent), nearby construction, mature trees overhanging the array, well-water sprinklers near the panels, or a commercial array where every percentage point of production matters. Most commercial customers run on 6-month plans for the documentation and reliability.
Cancel anytime
Plans are month-to-month after the first visit. No cancellation fees, no penalties, no auto-renewing multi-year contracts. We earn your renewal each cycle by showing up on time, doing good work, and sending you a clean report. If you ever want to pause or cancel, just text us.
What a year of maintenance looks like
Imagine your 24-panel residential array on an annual plan. Visit one (April, after monsoon-season pollen and spring dust): we clean and report. You see a production bump on May and June bills. Visit two (October, after monsoon mineral deposits): we clean and report again. Your winter production stays at peak, and you head into year two with a system that's been at near-modeled output the entire year. That's the value of the plan — not just clean panels, but predictable, protected production.
